Research with the Ridgetown Campus
2014-09-14
We are pleased to be assisting the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus with a Dorset sire from our flock, being used on a group of commercial ewes. The ewes and the resulting lambs, are part of a feed efficiency research trial. These will be the first lambs born on the Campus in Ridgetown in 50 years and we will be proud to say they are sired by a Brien ram. We hope that these lambs will demonstrate the value to commercial breeders using purebred rams to advance their breeding programs and create better meat lambs for the Canadian market.
